Duties include:
- Pick Product based on orders received.
- Read multi digit numbers and descriptions that are similar and differentiate for accurate pulling of products.
- Do final inspections before shipping.
- Package (boxing, taping, labeling) and ship orders accurately and timely.
- Prepare packing and shipping documents.
- May be responsible to print shipping labels (UPS and FedEx systems).
- Check tracking information on miscellaneous orders.
- Provide tracking information for all outbound freight to various departments.
- Process end of day reports.
- Wrap pallets by hand.
- Operate forklift.
- Process inventory counts.
- Assist with inventorying, receiving and stocking supplies.
- Work in a team environment with a great attitude and flexible approach.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
Summary of Experience and Education
* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* One year industry experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer proficiencies and accurate data entry; Microsoft Office, and job specific software.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume and distance, and size measurements.
- Must be detail oriented, able to perform with great accuracy and have good organizational skills.
- Perform a visual and mechanical quality check of products.
- Operate various power tools.
- Follow instructions.
- Physical requirements include regular bending, reaching, twisting, walking, standing, as well as lifting and packing boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
