The agency is certified by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health as a provider of Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment services and accredited through CARF as a provider of Integrated Alcohol and Other Drug and Mental Health services at all of its locations.

Four-year degree in a relevant program or related work experience in the business or social services field. Competent organizational skills and effective interpersonal skills. Skilled in preparing and delivering presentations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop and maintain working relationships with staff and administration, to interact positively with all members of the community and external news media and/or customers; analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills and computer literacy.
The Community Education Specialist promotes agency’s programs and image through personal contact with the community – community education activities include speaking engagements, public tours of facilities, and representation at meetings and events of civic, fraternal and social organizations. Seeks maximum constructive publicity through the news media. Develops appropriate brochures and promotional materials. Manage time effectively and communicate in a manner that serves to maximize agency resources. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential job function.
